Hello and welcome! By using our brilliant knowledge, properties, and attachments functions, your chatbot becomes a level of smart you’d be impressed with. It’ll get a deep understanding of your business, right down to the tiniest details. Plus, it can send various attachments like flyers, photos, audio and video files, or even share documents.
The “Knowledge” Tab
Where Knowledge Comes From
To kick things off, pop over to the “knowledge” tab. Here, under “Knowledge Sources”, you’ll find all the documents that currently make up your chatbot’s memory bank (it’s pretty good at remembering!). If needed, you can handpick a document to remove from your assistant’s memory – once gone, it’ll never utter a word about it again.
Documents
This part of the page is where you can upload your files. So far, we have support for a few formats like PDF, plain text files (those whose name ends with .txt), and HTML (names ending in .html). Only text elements will be considered, so if you’re hoping to send images or videos, check out attachments.
Scrape Website
This is a tad more advanced. If you are privy to a site’s sitemap, you can copy it here and hit “Find Pages”. After a few moments, depending on the size of the site, a list of pages will pop up. You can then select which ones your assistant should make a mental note of.
The “Properties” Tab
Again, a slightly advanced feature but great for specific cases (like real estate agents). Here’s where you can upload CSV files with columns for property details like name, bedrooms, bathrooms, address, link, unit number, square feet, price, availability date, and whether it’s available or not.
External Tools
Contains a few settings needed for third-party apps. Not all are operational at the moment, so bear with us.
The “Attachments” Tab
Wrapping up, we have the attachments. This is the place to upload files intended to be sent to your users during a conversation. The assistant decides to send an attachment based on its description. If deemed suitable, it’ll send the file without a hitch. No golden rule for writing these descriptions exists – it’s really a case-by-case thing. But generally, keep it as succinct as possible without omitting important details.
